  8. O my gosh! When I was very little we caught some caterpillars and watched them go through metamorphosis as well - These photos take me back :) We put Waffle Blocks (remember those?) in the tank with them to build their cocoons on! Very cool.

  9. I rescued Monarch larvae and kept them through their full change for many years in Iowa and it is truly a magical experience. Thanks for sharing this sequence!!

  12. Oh how awesome !!! Have you ever raised ladybugs ??? You get like 20 and the larva look NOTHING like a ladybug it's very freaky : ) .

    This is wonderful! I'm envious. We had monarchs last year, but none have showed up to lay eggs in our garden this year. Great photos!
