Have you entered the giveaway for Prize #1 yet? It is a hand dyed scarf by AJ of StormOne on Etsy. CLICK HERE to view the scarf & for contest details. Just remember to come back & sign up for this fabulous customized prize from the generous folks at Uprinting.com

What would you do with 100 postcards of your own design?

That is what the staff at Uprinting wants to know. (& I'm a little curious too....). Leave your answer in comments below to enter the random drawing for 100 custom printed postcards. It is that easy to enter! Next Thursday (10/29) at noon (EST) there will be one lucky winner of this great prize.

Please note, this contest is only open to residents of USA & Canada. FREE UPS Ground Shipping in the US (Canadian residents pay shipping and taxes. Offer not available to residents outside of the US and Canada).

These postcards measure 4" x 6" on 14 pt gloss cardstock. They come with full color printing on both sides.

Now, I must note that the thoughtful folks at Uprinting.com are also giving me 100 custom postcards for hosting their giveaway. These guys are too awesome! I'm waffling a bit on what to print, but I'm probably going to go with copies of Red's Walk on one side. Not sure yet about the other side. Any suggestions?

So, what'cha waiting for? What image would you put on your postcards & why? Can't wait to see all of your creative answers....

  1. Hmmm...my image would most likely be a collage with one of my vintage vixens, no doubt, and I believe I'd use the cards for promoting my online workshops.

BTW, I think Red is a great choice for your cards :)

  2. I would probably use these as invitations to a holiday Open House for selling my artwork. I'd serve goodies and have paintings framed and hung all over the house. I've been thinking about this for a while now, and wondered how I would handle the invitations! This would be a great way!

Also - I am applying for a spot to show my art at the local library art gallery. If I get chosen, I might use them for invitations to the Opening Gala night instead of the above idea :-)

  3. I like Red!!!
Hmm, I don't know about the other side but be sure to include your www.

  4. hmm I would of course hand some out as fairs and festivals, use them maybe as thank you cards with purchases. Put them up at hot spots to lure folks to my shop :) what a cool giveaway

  5. I would use the postcard to advertise an upcoming holiday sale at my Etsy shop. I have a thumbnail image from an acrylic painting that I've used as my avitar on Etsy and I also use that same image on business cards in order to brand myself, so I would use that same image on the postcard. It's all about branding and marketing yourself, so doing a direct mailing with these postcards would be awesome!!

  6. I love your art work, and blog, I have an award on my blog if you want it.

  7. geez- 100 postcards- who wouldn;t love that? between the art shows i do and the craft fairs and the classes- i've been wondering to myself that i need to print postcards to hand out with my schedule on them- so people know where i am and what i am up too-
you just can't put that much info on a business card.

  8. For 100 postcards of my very own, I'd make a brand new piece of art-- something steampunk-- like a clockwork mail delivery cowgirl! Yeah! Actually, I may do that now...

  9. Postcards! We're vending at an event in January and can send stuffers for the guest goodie bags. Postcards would rock!

  10. I would print some of my larger artworks on the postcards...or create something new!

  11. I'd include one as a freebie with customers' purchases. I'm with you, though: it would be really hard to decide on which image!

  12. I'd use them the next time my husband has an photo show for invitation to the opening.

  13. I think "Reds Walk" would make a great postcard. What are you waiting for?? I love Uprinting's quality and service. If I were to win 100 postcards, I would probably pick one of my scenic Diamond Head sunset paintings for them. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from uprinting again. They know what they are doing with these giveaways!
    Thanks for offering the contest.

  14. I would use the postcards to enter sweepstakes and hopefully win more prizes.

  15. Oh my goodness! That's an easy one. If I were to win 100 postcards I would give the prize to a friend who is having his first show.It would be my way of saying I believe in him and his art!

  16. I would put an image of some of my beautiful friends belly dancing and use them as party invitations!

    Thanks for doing this giveaway,

  17. I would let the kiddos around me paint their designs on the computer for the cards. That would be such a cute thing to send family and friends.

I think I'd use them to promote my website.
