Hey Hey - How's things today?
I don't know about you but I'm really glad it's Friday!
I don't know about you but I'm really glad it's Friday!
The weekend's almost here, a new Illustration Friday prompt has been posted, and today we have an added bonus: Those generous folks over at Uprinting.com are sponsoring another fabulous giveaway!! This time they are giving away 250 custom printed business cards to 1 very lucky winner!
The winner has a choice of card sizes:
2 x 3.5”, 2 x 3”, 2 x 2” (square card) or 1.5 x 3.5” (skinny card).
As well as paper:
14 pt gloss cardstock, 14 pt matte cardstock or 13 pt recycled uncoated cardstock
And, of course, the design is your creation.
Now for full disclosure, this is where I mention that Uprinting.com is generously giving me a set of 250 business cards too. Last year they printed some ArtSnark business cards for me but I don't think I've posted them here yet - here's a scan:
This year maybe I'll print something to promote my neglected art supplies & destash shops on Etsy - ColorThe Sky & SteamDreams.... or perhaps some kind of coupon/gift certificate to all 3 shops...hmmm...I'll have to think about that
But enough of my babbling - You want to know how to enter the random drawing for 250 Custom Printed Business Cards of YOUR Design, right?
It's easy - just leave a comment on this blog stating how you will use them if you are the lucky winner. You have until 1 a.m. (EST) Saturday Jan. 16 to enter. Later that day, I'll announce the randomly selected winner.
A few rules on this one: Contest is open to USA addresses only. Winner pays for shipping. Please make sure your contact info is in either your blogger profile or comment.
So, what'cha waiting for.... Why do you need some new business cards?

I'd use these business cards to promote a new project my friend and I have started at http://whatsinanenvelope.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteBasically, we're asking people to send us anything they can fit into an envelope. We're also leaving self-addressed stamped envelopes at random locations to get more interesting things in envelopes. Then, we'll post what we get on the website.
It would be great to have business cards to leave places to tell people about the project!
I totally NEED some new business cards for my ETSY site since I'm stepping my art game up this year!
ReplyDeleteOh my--I just got asked by a lady who sells some of my jewelry if I had business cards--um...no--maybe now I will!
ReplyDeleteooo, business cards! I'm preparing for my first show and business cards would be a nice addition!
ReplyDeletePromotion, promotion, promotion. These would be a step up from business cards - more like art cards.
ReplyDeleteI would certainly use these cards to promote my work as an artist. I know my studio will be open in April and I have a show in August. Hoping to line more up!

Oh yes, indeed. Everyone needs business cards, right? I'm in the process of redesigning mine right at this moment. I want 2010 to be a year of the great art-bounce back for all us and am going to do everything I can to promote original art and fellow artists. Lots of ideas perculating right now. :)
ReplyDeleteYour business cards are so cool! I just don't know what I would do with 250 business cards, though...Hmmm....thinking....
ReplyDeleteYou finally did your cards! Yeaaa! They turned out awesome! You must be so happy with them. If I were to win the contest, I would love to use the cards to promote my artwork throughout Hawaii.
ReplyDeleteMAHALO ! Lisabongzee
Oooh! I am in need of business cards! I just received notice that I won the A Splotch Monster Compendium Vol.1 and thought, "What the heck, why not try for the cards?" I just previewed A Splotch Monster ... online and cannot wait to receive it. Giveaways are fun! I have one going on my blog, too.
ReplyDeleteI'd use these cards for my new ETSY site.
ReplyDeleteGrate take on the business cards.
